Kinda early for the shallow bite, isn’t it? Should pick up with these warmer nights tho.

Fished here Saturday. Caught over seventy crappies but only 23 keepers between two of us. So many small fish biting, my buddy started getting frustrated. Started getting hot around eleven after the clouds moved out. Off the water by twelve. Got our fish on jig and nibbles in nine to twelve foot, near or on brush. Only three or four keepers after 10:45.

I heard through the grapevine that some anglers are picking some up in the state park already off the break wall, anybody been able to confirm?

Can’t confirm the breakwall but I got some fish drifting the 88 stump field yesterday. Got caught in that downpour too.
