    Question East fork reports?

You can pm if you want. Haven't been since last fall. Water temps, clarity, etc.
    Thanks, Bassky

Just curious why a lake report should be pm'd?

Just how bad is the algae?

I've fished with moderate algae and it never seemed to hurt fishing much. Of course, in the summer, I was always trolling deeper water with double-minnow rigs. I always did well doing that this time of year.

I'm tempted to try East Fork when I go fishing this Friday. I haven't been there in about 15 months.

I think this is what Bassky is talking about. I took these pics bac in mid-June. You can still get some fish but the water was pretty nasty looking.
I was at the lake the other day from shore and I didn't see any on the algae sitting on top but the water is pretty darn green. Was worse than Cowan, Paint Creek or Rocky Fork.

Thanks. That's terrible looking. They need to do something about this. Seems it's every single year anymore.

MBK...water looks nasty but I don't see why your method of fishing wouldn't prove effective. Lake was up 8' yesterday morning from all the rain so you may want to give it a few days to get back down to summer pool and settle down a little.
