Anyone been out to Acton in the last few days? How is it looking?

We are going to try to get out there this weekend.

    Hi.
One of my friends fished Saturday evening and said he did really good...
but since the rain, wind, and lower temps may have slowed the bite down a little bit.

    Tom,

Were you hitting them up close to the banks or out?

We are heading out this afternoon so hopefully can provide a good report

    Hi all.
I worked both sids of the lake Saturday morning with only a couple dinks to show for the effort.
I saw a guy drifting out in the middle who said he at least was catching some crappie
with some size - at that time the wind was blowing out of the south so I used a kentucky rig in
18 to 25 feet of water and I began to pick up some decent crappie - after about an hour the wind suddenly shifted and blew out of the north... after that ... not much to report.
    Be safe all.

We got out on Friday afternoon for a couple hours. We worked across the boat ramp down towards the lodge. We started on the bank and werent getting anything and moved out some and landed about 10, with a couple keeper size. All were caught on white heads and dark (purple/blue) bodies.

Dad and I spent the last day or two fishing our favorite southwest lakes in ohio the its was nothing but a Chinese fire drill. I tried and tried my best to fish two poles and those dare crappie wouldn't let me..our arms hurt from catching so many crappie... I love the fact that we were culling 10 inches crappie for 11 inch crappie.... Acton lake and rocky fork our on fire folks... Go fishing...sorry. Go catching
Thanks gatorbait for spending quality time and guide service lol
