    Default Well Hello Girls!

I know it's been a while. Have had too much going on. Just wanted to let you fellas that remember me know what's been going on.

First of all, my job at the turf farm went belly up. I got notified Jan 4th that it was my last week. So I got on unemployment for 3 weeks but I had a job lined up after week 1. I am now working for a local chemical company driving a semi for them making deliveries to farmers and other warehouses and it has been too busy.

Also I fished along with my partner Joel, the Albemarle crappie trail this past season. 7 tournaments. We won 3, placed 2cd at Pembroke. Then placed 3rd, 4th, and 5th. 12 boats was lowest turn out. I was tickled to death on our performance. I have a great young partner that I have been pouring all my knowledge into. I can trust him. He is a good friend and helped me out when I was in a bind and never thought twice about it. So look out folks cause there is a 27 year old fella out there that is getting 20+ years crappie fishing experience dumped into his head as fast as I can.

We won the points championship and will be receiving our rewards as soon as NC opens back up to social gathering for the ACC banquet. I promised him we would win the championship as soon as we heard about the points system this past year. I'm so glad I was able to follow through on that promise. Joel has come a long way in a really short time. We are now equals as partners and bounce ideas off each other and we think alot alike. I feel funny being the old man on the boat. Finally see what it's like to be Done G.!

Anyway, it's been too long. I did chat a little on the back channels with a few guys through PMs during the tournament season. Fished almost every Saturday from last September till mid March. Went last Saturday and caught 25 with another buddy of mine. Mostly dinks but we did manage a couple channel cats that went 15 pounds a piece. That was fun on 4# test! CF

Good to see you're doing well. My nephew is moving down that way 15 miles SW of Corapeake. His son is just south of Corapeake. I'm looking around at some land down that way. Pretty soon we'll have you surrounded!

Farmer, good to see you are still kicking.. I still think I can take you & Boscoe at the same time.. Maybe you can come to Kerr at some time.

Take care, I'll leave a light on for you..

Good to hear from you Ed. You have been having some fun. I feel a bit weird posting on this thread. Like I'm butting in on a conversation at the rest home.

Thanks Boscoe. I’m wearing a mask so it should be okay.

By the way, what do you do in the warm months. I know you shovel snow next to Macaulay Culkins house in the winter.
