LAST DAY!

After 47 years, 2 months and 21 days today is my last day of full time employment. My employer has sold the company and split it between two others. Neither of the two offered me full time employment only part time on call work. So that's it. Checked this morning on the way end, 4 miles to Whitehurst, 5 miles to Smith, 6 blocks to the Bay. As long as the money holds out that's were I'll be. If the money gives out look for me at the Interstate off ramp, sign will say "will tie jigs for food."

Congrats on the retirement Bill. (I think) I hope they offered you some sort of retirement package. If not and I see you at a ramp I'll get up with Dayton and we'll bring you a Big Mac and coffee.

Rolled my pension from last job into IRA, 401k from this job plus Social Security I should be OK.

Congratulations on your last day! I don't think you'll miss work at all, I know I don't! Now comes all the stuff you never knew you had to do on every pretty day. Enjoy!!!
