    Do I need a WMA permit to squirrel hunt on State WMA "if" I am over 65 years of age ?

    I don't know. Don't think you need a hunting license, just your drivers license to show you're old. Will need a permit while hunting is what I'm thinking.
    Nothing in the Outdoor Digest about that. Contact MDWFP for the correct answer.

    Have been told two different things. one says an $18.00 wma permit is needed . The license is not required for sure . I also know you must fill out the card while hunting .

    Found it online . "IF NO LICENSE IS REQUIRED NEITHER IS A PERMIT ". You will still need to fill out and display the card before hunting/ fishing .

    my dad has a card he hangs on his rear view mirror showing he is old enough not to have to buy permit. We never pay.
