    Default Grape jelly

Next time you're grocery shopping notice grape jelly. Same brand... Small jar and large jar are almost same price. Large is often cheaper. Noticed this for last 10-15 years.
You remember the jelly that came in a container that you used as a glass later? I dropped one and broke it. Momma told me that's why we never had anything nice.
When we sometimes didn't have anything to eat Momma would gather us all around the table and just read us a recipe. One little brother was hard of hearing and nearly starved to death one time.

Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
The two loudest sounds are a gun that goes bang when it is supposed to go click and one that goes click when it is supposed to go bang.

Always drank out of jelly jars at Grandma’s house.

And at my good friend Fred’s house too. 0:40 second mark......

Yep, and flour came in printed cotton bags. They saved the bags until they ha enough of them to make girl clothes. Neighbors would trade designs in order
to get enough material of one color to make a garment. Money wasn't as important back then as it is today and we ate good. Went to bed at dark and got
up a little before daylight. I still do that. When we got our first bathtub, my little brother and I were the cleanest two kids in the country. We stayed in that
thing. I won't say I miss it but I'm glad I got to see both sides. It was a good way to grow up. I do not miss the outhouse.
    Tell'em I'll be there.

Is that how the marines got their nickname? j/k of course!
Noticed in your profile that you too are a Libran(3 days earlier) You arrived 2 years earlier than I, but I arrived 4 months earlier than you on C.com!
I figured I was gonna be in to comedic tendencies when my Mom had me crack up in delivery room!

That explains why my ex-wife's girlfriend's cousin's siblings(got that?) hated it when he got to lick the jars clean. He was twice as fast because of his cleft-tongue!! Makes sense to me...

Never forget when me and my brother got a pair of ice skates.
He got the left one and I got the right.
    But seriously,
We did get our drinking glasses at the gas station when Mother fueled up the Plymouth.

I had my own jelly glass when I was a kid. Would still have it if not for the fire.

You're lucky, we only had snuff glasses.

We had a lot of glasses, dishes and towels that were premiums in laundry soap boxes.
