    Default I have a question


    I don't have a Terrova but a friend is buying one and he wants to know can you link a Lowrance sonar to it with a US2 cable./ He seems to think that Minn Kotas are only compatible to Hummingbird units.I don't know anything about it, so I'm asking the pros.

    Steve is he talking about using the built in transducer or linking to the motor itself to be able to control motor from Lowrance?
    #1 yes he can use built in transducer for 2d sonar
    #2 no he can not link to motor with Lowrance to control motor. And to control motor from HB it would have to have ipilot link installed.

    If I were starting new I’d probably go garmin. Too deep in HB to do it.

    Are you sure that lowrance can run 2D sonar on a Min Kota built in ducer?

    Buy the adapter cable for your unit the select universal sonar or what ever lowrance calls it for 2d.

    Minn Kota compatibility (exclusive to HB only) —> relates to the Minn Kota “iLink” feature - which is an Ethernet connection from the Minn Kota trolling motor to a HB head unit = that allows controlling some trolling motor operations from the HB head unit ...
