extreme lip chap
Been 10 days. Still sore and lips never split . Have used Chap stick , Blistex, Carmex, Vaseline ,Aquaphor and cortizone 10 . Fished 4 days straight before with no problems . Anybody with Granny's old cure ? Had to laugh thinking about my dad used to tell me to put Cow Manure on it . Said it would not help but guarantee not to lick lips . lol

- Honey: It is highly moisturizing, which makes it a good treatment for dry lips. Honey also contains antioxidants and antibacterial properties, which help prevent infections from developing in extremely dry or cracked lips.
- Cucumber: It can gently moisturize the lips and may contain vitamins and minerals that could improve the lips’ appearance.
- Green tea: Rich in antioxidants and minerals, green tea also contains polyphenols, which reduce inflammation. Soak a bag of green tea in warm water and gently rub it over the lips to soften and remove excess dry skin. This technique is more gentle than traditional exfoliation.

It works. I got caught without lip balm at the camper one week and used it. Healed up in just a couple days.
One more tip about chapped lips- do NOT put Vaseline or any type of oil balm including chapstick without spf protection on your lips before you go out. It’s like greasing up a skillet. Always use sunscreen.
