Default Crappie Depot to the Rescue

Laura and I pulled cranks Thursday on Sardis then Friday on Enid. Everything was humming along perfectly both days. Saturday morning we hit Enid again but almost from the beginning, the trolling motor was really struggling to get us up to speed. We fished for about an hour until the motor started giving up. We loaded up and went back to the cabin and plugged the charger in. Two of the three trolling batteries were almost fully charged and the third was fully dead. Thought the charger had a bank go down so I hooked up a portable charger. It read battery failure. Arrggghhh. Where do I get a group 31 deep cycle on Saturday afternoon? Walmart? NO. OReillys? NO. Autozone? NO. Thought about Crappie Depot. YES!!!! They fixed me up. Going to try fishing again this evening. I sure am happy they were open

Laura picked up some Pico crankbaits while we were there. She’s boated 7 keepers so far in under an hour this evening with them.

Thanks Speck for the heads up on Crappie Depot.I took a look at their website.
For short trips around the house I usually just charge night before and hit the pavement. If it is hours to get where i am a going I most always get the load tester, out from under the back seat of the truck, and check them for a little peace of mind. It has saved my bacon a few different times.Load testers are simple and quick to use and a bargain at a little over $20 .Just tryin to help...hope you catch the stew out of em. Good Luck
