I agree with you. Two weeks is a long time in this mess. Nobody can even venture a guess as to what they may do. You just make the call as you see it when the time comes.
OK folks, I've had several calls and texts about Spring Camp. From what I've learned, Mississippi state parks are closing facilities through the end of March. No decisions have been made for April yet. I understand they are taking it month by month. As of right now, we are still planning on holding Spring Camp unless and until they close the state park campgrounds/cabins and/or limit the number of people that can gather in a group. This is a fluid situation and we hope to make a final decision by the first of April so everyone would have 2 weeks to cancel their reservations if they need to. Regardless of if we still have Spring camp or not, Laura and I are still planning on coming down to fish that weekend as long as we can still get a cabin. Let's hear your thoughts.

One thing about the camp grounds. You don’t get your money back but what they do is give you a credit fir future stay. That’s what they told us last time.

Make the call, Speck. We will go with your decision. Who knows what's gonna happen in this mess.

May be different with the park closing. We’re had to cancel before and we’re told only a rain check

I was told about an hour ago I had to be out of the Enid campgrounds by Sunday at noon. I asked about the boat ramps and they said as of right then they would
still be open. I ask how long were they closing for. The ranger told me July 1.
Tell'em I'll be there.Speck thanked you for this post
Bad news, stormcloud! I hope they don't go as far as the boat ramps closing. That would be really stupid! TWRA has posted on their facebook page....."come on out and enjoy the Tennessee outdoors. Everything will remain open" or words to that affect.
