Default Had a very tense weekend......

We got a call from our daughter in law Saturday morning. My son, Joe, which many of you know, had an accident where he fell and fractured a vertebra in his neck. He was rushed to ER in Alexandria, LA, where he had surgery to fuse three vertebrae in his neck. Thank God, he is gonna be ok. The neurosurgeon told us that he was an extremely lucky young man. He has seen a lot of cases like this that result in paralysis. We are so grateful that God was looking after him in this instance. He was released from the hospital yesterday. He had a bone graft from his hip to fuse the vertebrae, along with plates and screws. He is in a neck brace for a few weeks, but other from the pain he is having, he is doing great....able to walk and full movements. My wife and I thank God for looking after him. I don’t usually share my personal life on the internet, but I consider every one on here a friend and I posted this to make a point of how fragile life is, and you never know what will happen on any given day. May God bless each and every one of you.
