Default Place to stay at Grenada

Need a place to stay for one night at Grenada. The cabins require three nights.

The cabins I checked were at the State Park.

#8 is actually closer to main ramp than the cabins. Nothing fancy but they cater to fishermen. Short drive to restaurants. Right by lakeway if you need bait.

Nothing against #8 great owners and they try to keep watch best they can. I actually stayed there for a couple months before I moved on. The rooms are worth every penny you pay for, clean enough to get a nights rest and a shower. I would recommend taking anything of value off the boat and put it in the room. Lots of traffic down highway 8 and futheyville is right across the highway. It was bad 20 years ago when I left. Still have tons of family and friends in that area and it has only gotten worse. If your not looking for cheap may look at some of the newer hotels near I-55. Not trying to be high falutin or nothing, I was born and raised in Grenada. Just make sure your valuables are under lock and key if you go that route.

Taking a buddy with Reese Guide for his birthday in June. Coming down on a Friday night to fish Saturday. Won’t have our boat or anything.
