Those large reflective signs with numbers along the bank , are so you can know your general area if help is needed .
All C.O.E. Lakes have maps with important phone numbers . Stop by the office of the lake/lakes you fish and pick one up . Keep numbers in your phone as you can call direct to the lakes (most till midnight ) or the Sheriff (during or after hrs . ) will notify the lake if rescue/ retrieve of stranded boat is needed . The following is a map of Sardis so you get the idea .

Good info Coach.
I may be getting older but I refuse to grow up.
Great, I keep one for every lake I fish. Good info.
Good info, Curtis. Also, every Corps lake has a Ranger on duty during the week ends. You can get the Ranger's cell no. from the Corps office that is on duty when the office is closed.
Enid Lake cell for weekend duty Ranger - (662)654-4078. Check, as it may have changed.

Actually if it has not changed there is always a normal schedule on the weekends and more during holidays . The shift leader has the cell phone. Ranger boat may be called out at any time fairly quick . After midnight a call to the Sheriff office would the be relayed to a designated ranger to address the problem .
