That article is almost 8 years old. That’s several generations of technology.
There are thousands of these batteries in use in boats, Rvs, solar arrays, etc. The main downside to their use is price.
I would do a lot of research before installing these batteries. Lot's of them still blowing up in people's pants etc. I would hate to have a 12v blow up on a boat.

i been doing some research on em myself and i think im gonna let them prove themselves a little bit more. not going to spend that kind of money on a battery anyway. from what ive seen im not sure my 4 bank minnkota charger would work with em or not which is another 600.00 investment.
