Only advice I can give is that if I was boat shopping my first call would be to BRM.
As the header said, I am in the market for a fiberglass (bass Boat) to convert and use for crappie fishing. I have very limited knowledge of these boats, and i have a budget. I would like all you glass boat owners to give me advise on:
1: best for stabilty (or ones to steer clear of) in rough water
2: wide front deck
3: best brands to look at and why
4: any other life experiences that are important to you as a crappie fisherman,
5: If you have one, post a picture of your boat.
I have a 2005 stratos 294xl to look at today. I just missed out on a bass cat that was in immaculate shape. I want a fuel injected engine and have a 23ft garage length limit.

Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
The two loudest sounds are a gun that goes bang when it is supposed to go click and one that goes click when it is supposed to go bang.
If you rob Peter to pay Paul, you can generally count on Paul's vote.
Check transom out and floor for weak spots. Where water could get to the inside and rot or weaken.
Be safe and good luck fishingcrappiejim LIKED above post
He was in a pretty nice Ranger last I knew. Nice xpress too.
