I went through two of them. They don’t last. Went to a Smoke Hollow, didn’t last a year. Now I have a PitBoss 7 series pellet smoker. Better than the others as far as cooking and taste. It’s almost as good as my big green egg on taste. Only had it a year so I can’t say how long it’ll last.

I know some folks have replaced the heating element several times. I have had mine a long time ( 7 years) and use the heck out of it....never had a problem.

There are several issues with them, they had me replace heating element, that wasn’t it. Took it apart and found in upper right corner a heat sensor for over heat. It has burned up. They don’t sell that little part. Went to appliance part store and got one for dryer and replaced connectors. Very poor wiring set up. Lots of the new ones have problems with controller. On yours first thing to check is pull cover on back lower left that covers where heating element is connected. Most when they quit the spade connectors that hook onto heating element burn up from over heating because they get loose. If so you can clip them off and get a couple of new ones for stoves and crimp them on and your set. I’m on a couple of masterbuilt pages on Facebook. Seems their service really sucks anymore.

Had mine for about 6 months and it burnt all the wiring... cord melted... luckily the breaker tripped before it caught fire. Loved it while it worked but I’ll never have another one.
I went with a Traeger... had it for 5 years now and it’s been great.

No control boards, elements or spades to fail with my stick burner. Wouldn’t have it any other way !!
