this thing is suppose to run a 36 volt trolling motor with better efficiancy than three optimas. it sells for 2,100.00. only weights 28lbs. not sure what to think. would sure get rid of some wires and free up some space in the back of the boat.

They are the future and they outperform everything currently on the market. Problem is price. Not only 2100 for the battery but have to get into a new charging system as well. A few of the big walleye rigs have made the switch and are happy with the results so far.

Imagine putting 3 of those 36 volt units in parallel? You could fish the Great Lakes w a trolling motor. I did hear the charging sequence is a little finicky though and putting them in parallel has it’s problems.

I run three 100ah lithiums on my trolling motor. I really like them. I charge with a MK charger, but I'm adding the Power Pole Charge system to the boat. That 40 ah 36v battery would be like running three 60ah conventional batteries.

I have 2 in my new green carp boat. I think I can go a week without charging. Then it takes 3 hours to recharge !

My son runs three in his boat. He loves them, they are very light. Too much money for me, though. Don’t know if they are the same ones, but here are pics. Notice how easily he is holding one of them.
