Is it true that on private land one of your three bucks can have horns without any size restrictions ?
If I understand correctly only youth hunters 15 years and younger can harvest any antlered deer, up to three total. I believe adults have to go by the legal guidelines of antlered deer depending on which zone they are hunting in. Doesn't matter if it's on public or private land is what I gathered.

Dang, Snubby! What does the second sentence under bag limits say? "One of these three may be ANY antlered deer on private land or Holly Springs National Forest.
Snubby LIKED above post
Had to read it several times before I saw that "any" in there.

That was the way I understood it . The biggest problem now will be that any deer not having spots is legal . The people around our lease will slow the CWD for sure . The odds of getting caught is slim and none (warden not likely see anybody kill two lesser bucks ) . Really makes little difference as the kids could cover the adults anyways . Kids can take all three being lesser on private lands . I wish we would go back to a tag system of some sorts . The same spike I saw Friday evening on the power line ,that was illegal(doe only season ), got smoked by a man who will harvest at least 5 bucks this season . At least with tags he might get caught(When he runs out of tags ) .JMO :Ask him today how many he has killed his reply will be , none . Then he will say prove it . dono

It's pretty much wide open, has there been any new cases of CWD reported?
