    Just a heads up. Was in there the other day to get minnows and was told they didn’t have any and were planning to close. Bait shops must be a tough business.

    I'm of the thought process, it would be a tough road to hoe nowadays. Got bad minners in hernando a few weeks ago and contaminated my tank. Damn store was closed a couple Sunday's ago when I go to buy minnows. Thought they had recently swapped owners. Either way got a good count, me and the minnow man disagree on a large minnow as opposed to a small medium. Guess I be ordering from the farm directly this year again, don't pay enough to try and patronize an establishment now a day I reckon.

    Only place I know of is that store other side of spillway right around the lake. Probably best bet would be stop at shell station on 51 in Hernando on your way down.
