    Default Eagle lake

Been to my camp the last two weekends to clean up. The place looks like a bomb went off. Not to mention it’s 110 degrees in the shade. On the upside all the flood control locks are wide open a fish are hungry. Talked to one guy who caught a limit off the side of public road around a culvert in 2 hrs. Too bad I got too much work to do up there to go. This is a few pics of the area around my camp.

two pics are after I cleaned up. I did find a piece of a pier I’m gonna convert into a fish cleaning deck and I found my new service pole that floated off about a mile away. Now to get to work on fixing my floor.

Water is beautiful to fish on and relaxing to be on but it can really act ugly sometimes. Flooding can be worse than a fire. Looks like it stayed about a foot under
the floor for an extended amount time. Did it get into the camp or did wave action get you?
    Tell'em I'll be there.

Man that's tuff. Hate to hear about your place and several others I know in the area. Maybe they will install the pumps now.

Compared to some I got lucky. There’s plenty of camps and homes that are just gone. I took a 4 wheeler ride through the woods and saw around 20 dead deer. It’s a sad situation but it’ll bounce back

Sorry for the loss of everyone’s property down there. Even the Yore Store went out of business. What a shame.

I guess the carp will be in Eagle now. SMHEagle lake

Probably so about the carp, but will they be able to reproduce? I read somewhere about them requiring a certain amount of flowing water to reproduce.
