No mater your situation, you can always find someone who has it worse. I know from first hand experience. Hope everything goes well with the rebuild.

I usually take a break from crappie fishing July and August. I don’t live close enough to water to justify many early morning only trips. Be back at it soon though

in recorded history its never gotten that high. and yes bmr the carp are in there i saw em jumping in muddy bayou but they got in there in 2011 when they had to let water in the lake from steel bayou and they died off. its true they cant survive in a landlocked lake.

I hadn't even though about the carp. Another good lake will bite the dust.

I thought Eagle had carp in it because it was not land lock from Mississippi river?

No its normally locked off but when they open all the flood control mechanisms they can get in there. It’s rare the corps have to let water into eagle

Pretty sure they can survive about anywhere they get into. Being landlocked hasn't killed them off in Reelfoot. Been there for years.

That's a real mess. Is there any such thing as flood insurance for those camps?
