    Default hummingbird helix 5 transducer

need some advice. i have a helix 5 gps/sonar that was feeding through my universal sonar on my ultrex 112. on a recent trip the coupling where the adapter connects to the tm was damaged on the trolling motor side. i have ordered a transducer bracket from hummingbird to just use the original transducer that came with the unit. im just buying time till i can upgrade to another helix 10mega si like i have at the helm. my question is do i need to do anything different or special when running my transducer cable that would be different than when you hook one to any other cable driven tm. thanks,

*Do not continue the xducer cable along the cable steer cable towards the foot pedal ... (This is a scenario that can cause RFI encroachment into the Sonar system) ... Instead when the cable is nearing the head of the TM - route the continuing cable along the scissor mount ...

And there's this option for cable management from the Ultrex motor housing up toward the head ...

You can leave it or disconnect it inside the head ...
