    North Abutment, Grenada Lake.
    Hernando Point, Arkabutla
Cossar on Enid is probably the coolest, plenty of shade, old campground but a good one.

I am going to be camping at the North Abutment campground next week and want to know which boat ramp should I use. I will be launching by myself.
I may be getting older but I refuse to grow up.

Persimmon Hill at Enid is as nice as it gets, don’t let the name fool you it flat makes riding bicycles easier if that’s what you’re kids are into. The pads are concrete and big enough for your boat. Nice play ground, fish cleaning station and boat ramp. Most sites have nice views and on the water. The only downside is not all have good shade. Have fun and give us a full report

Persimmon Hill , Enid . new restrooms and shower shower , playground , lighted walking trail, tree identification coarse, sundial and other stuff for kids to do . boat ramp and All pads are new . The biggest thing to remember is that All dam area campgrounds get patrolled much heavier by the rangers and the sheriff deputies than up the lake . There are repairmen on call to handle serious problems such as electricity when it's 110 in the shade . 300 yd. from the gate is a great little restaurant to boot . You may never have a problem off the Dam but just remember that extra 10 dollars off the site cost is another case of cheap beer .

There is a good ramp right there, next best at this water level is Piney Woods. Southerly or easterly winds stay off the North Abutment ramp, go around to Piney Woods

Persimmion and Piney Woods (Wallace Creek) have sewage hookups at the pads.
    Tell'em I'll be there.

North Abutment on Grenada. Persimmon Hill on Enid. Hernando Point on Butla. Sardis campgrounds are okay but don’t rank up there with the others

We used to camp at Persimmon Hill when I was a kid but I haven't been there in years. I heard a big storm came through there years ago and tore it up real good, took down a lot of the trees and I thought I remembered hearing that the COE was taking a long time to get it cleaned up due to budget constraints at the time. Has it fully recovered?
    I got 350 heads on a 305 engine.
I get 6 miles to the gallon.
I aint got no good intentions.
