Phone for Corp of Engineer's office at Sardis is 662-563-4531. Should be able to get info and make reservations with them.

Hate to hear that! I've seen people fishing on that ramp and sitting on a rip rap rock. Would hope they would have enough sense to put it back where it came from. Thanks for heads-up. I've launched there hundreds of times without mishap but we'll be sure to pull off trailer slowly from now on.

Don't let it deter you any, it was just one of those things that happens every now and again. That's the price we pay to enjoy the sport, idiots just sometimes complicate matters

Funny you mention the bank fisherman, it happened when I was loading the boat not putting in. I had just a narrow lane on the far right side of the ramp to load up. There were 3 fishing side by side on the ramp on the left side towards the middle. I'm pretty fluent in redneck and didn't see any need in getting any feathers ruffled. Good thing I had a box of fish and was done for the day, been a downer if I just getting started. Just one of those days, they don't happen often and it's just part of it I reckon.
