My son bought these batteries for his boat. They are 6.5 inches by 7.5 inches and weigh 15 pounds! Supposed to get the same runtime as conventional group 31 batterie. But they are very expensive.

I was interested, until I saw the price!
In about 10 more years they will be cheap enough, I’ll be able to afford them.

I run the Relion 100ah batteries on my boat. Really like them.

I could go two lifetimes buying conventional batteries ever few years for what those cost. The bass guys like them for the light weight of course, if your not doing at least 132 mph you will never catch up to that one bass in the lake. I agree with others, in another 10 years they will be affordable to the average Joe, but not this Joe yet! Has anyone ever used these batteries?

If you think battery price is bad, price the charger. Honestly the way technology is going I don’t think it will take 10 years. Once there is a market built price will come down pretty quick.
