Default 2020 Trip Decision: Lake Washington vs Ross Barnett

First week of March, where would you go and why? I've been to 1 of the 2 lakes. Let me hear it...

    Thanks,

Man that is a loaded question, both could be good and both could be bad. Barnett has been on fire this year and Washington has gotten a lot of it's nurishment from the rear utter. One thing to keep in mind is that next spring will be the second spring with the 11 inch law at Washington and it should be plenty of keepers.

Nothing like catching fish to make the trip better but who knows. However, not knowing the bite, I think Washington is the better choice based upon the amenities and proximity to the lake. The cabins at chatham are affordable sitting right on the water, docks with charging outlets, covered cleaning stations and good food in the store not to mention the beautiful scenery offered by a cypress lined lake.

Barnett, weather more predictable, be catching fish next year even better than this. First year of cycle of big and numerous fish. May have to stay in motel but I’m sure wife and girls would much prefer that.
