    It’s good to have friends !

    Sounds like you had one of my days. Went out about 11:00. Liked to have never gotten the boat hooked up to my truck since I put a new trailer jack on the trailer. Got to Tommy’s and put in. My new Humminbird would not boot up. Decided to go to the welfare hole. Tried to hook up four double jig lines I had pre-tied. They tangled up so badly I cut two off before they even got wet. Finally got three going and caught one dink. Lost half of one rod went the jig got hung on the bottom. Decided to go home. Got to my truck and noticed the tread on my left trailer tire looked odd. Found that the hub was wobbling on the spindle. Decided to try to make it home. Got home and took the hub off. Bought new bearing set which did not fit. Tomorrow is going to be a better day. I just know it......

    Yes I internet shopped new 225 Yamahas last night. New ones are 18 to 21,000. I only paid 16k for my boat, motor and trailer. Course it was 8 years old when I bought it. Since I’m 70 years old, I don’t think the amortization works out on a new Yamaha.
