I used to get blown off the lake 1/2 the trips in Feb./ Mar . Now I don't go till we have three nights 50 degrees or better in a row . By then weather is starting to level out . When you retire you can fish every pretty day April 1- Oct. 1 .

I USE TO TELL MY STEPSON I WAS GOING HUNTING CRAPPIE . IT IS A NEVER ENDING CHALLENGE . LOVE IT

I agree. Finding them sometimes takes a half hour of scanning the lake for the right boat, or three or four phone calls!

Got me to laughing too, was watching a Steve Commalander video and he was talking about the absolute best fish finder, how it only cost a 100$ and was readily available and 100% reliable,,,, that's when he held up a set of Nikon binoculars!
