Rapala , heavy duty . Is a good knife. Best ? Many I have not used .
I’m wanting opinions on what y’all have found to be the best electric filet knife? Are the American anglers worth the money? And does anybody have any experience with the new cordless filet knifes?

I have 2 American angler’s. One about 20 years old that is my go to. Got a newer blue/gray one and don’t like the ergonomics of it very much. Buying new would get the yellow/ gold colored one. Saw something about bubba blade having an electric. Looked it up this morning, found it at one place 128.00. Couldn’t find any info on it or reviews. Seen a lot of guys on different sites talking about the bread knifes at Walmart being pretty good and cheap.
I use a black and decker Turkey carving knife and have used it for 5 years now and I love it it works good for me and only cost about 9 or 10 dollars

My daily knife is an American Angler with Shark blades. I bought a 12 volt Rapala for the times I have to clean fish away from 110 volts. That thing lasted about 3 times used then bit the dust. I keep a Black and Decker from WalMart ($11) as a back-up 110V.

I love my old American Angler too! I even have a pair of "new old stock" Anglers from back in the 90's that I discovered in my dad's fish shack when I cleaned it up after he passed away. New in box! So I should be set deep into the future if they last like the first one has!
