With the Helix 7 SI I’m picked up, I didn’t want the ducer in the TM. Couple of RAM mounts and a piece of heavy wall 1” PVC and it’s gonna work like a champ. Going to run the cable through the pipe and cap/seal off the ends. No duct tape either lol
where did you get that mount for your transducer pole?

It's just RAM Mounts. Looked around at all the different RAM Mounts and sketched it out on paper how to do it. I'll cap both ends, drill a hole in it to run my cable, then seal off the holes with Silicone

Yeh, it's gonna cost me BUT, I'd rather pay a little more and get someone to do it. That way I can fish soon instead of working on my boat. When you go to work before daylight and get home about dark, no free time during the week.

I know that feeling and 45 minutes away from home doesn’t help either. I’ve been trying since first of year to get my boat home and in garage to tidy up and fix a few loose ends and such and still haven’t gotten it home.

I like that mount. May do something similar for my tm Duce this up front.

It’s just hard to make time to do all the little things. I fixed the wiring in my MK 330 and my gas gauge wiring had come aloose. Fixed it. I could fix things, save a few bucks and not have any time to fish or get someone to do it and go fishing. . I chose the later. lol. I should have the FF installed by the weekend. I’ll let you know if it works as good as I think it will. Bout $50 or so for all the parts I’ll post a list of what I used. All have the 1 1/2” balls. Little overkill but sturdier.
