Default Power Air Fryer DON'T DO IT !!!

Just before Christmas I went to Bed Bath and Beyond and bought a Power brand Air Fryer. I cleaned it like the owner's manual said to do before I turned it on for the first time. As soon as it started heating up it started to smell like electrical wires were getting hot. I figured it had a short in the wiring so I took it back and exchanged it for another one at another of their stores. Cleaned the new one and the same smell. I took it back for a refund and bought a Big Boss fryer from Amazon and am completely pleased with it.
I may be getting older but I refuse to grow up.

We use our power air fryer 3 or 4 times a week for about a year now, no problems. They carry them at Sam's club now for less money than they were a year ago. Great for sweet potato fries, tator tots, crappie filets, chicken breasts, warming up pizza slices so they stay crispy, frozen onion rings. Lots of uses, and less calories!

It tells you right in the instruction book it possibly will have a smell to it when you first turn it on. Mine I just ran it through a 30 minute cycle. It had a little smell but nothing sense. Not a minutes problem.

I ran both thru two thirty minute cycles and the smell never went away. Oh well I’m satisfied with my Big Boss.
