    Default Crappie mounts


    Hey fellas,
    I caught a 3.3 lb black racing striped nose crappie today... I have never had a fish mounted but I want to mount this one... who do y’all recommend to make a crappie look like a crappie in central MS

    Thanks for the suggestion....
    Truth be told I didn’t think to take pictures. I was getting fish out of the livewell at home when my neighbor came over to see what I caught he said it was the biggest he had ever seen and wanted me to weigh it sooooo I weighed it on my Freon scale and was surprised. I checked the scales accuracy with one of my sons 5lb work out weights and it was on. The fish was 18 3/4” long. Never really thought of crappie as trophies for anything else besides the dinner table...
    As nasty as the weather was yesterday the fishing was great.... today however it was mediocre at best

    Allen has done 3 crappie and a dear head for a friend. Fantastic mounts. Takes awhile but well worth the wait.
