Clifford, is that a breed or a mix?

I looked it up. Texas state dog. Lacy brothers, 4 of them, moved to Texas from Kentucky in the 1800s. The origin was English
Shepard or coyote bred to Greyhound , then wolf. I never heard of one. Very smart working dog. Not for a lay around the house dog. Neat dog.

They are hard core working dogs, for sure... Can make great companions, but require a lot of activity to keep them out of trouble...

That is correct... Some folks do hog hunt with them... And, they can be hard to find outside of Texas... They come in three recognized colors, blue, red, and tri... I have some of each in my kennel, but this litter only has blues and reds..

Nice looking dogs Clifford. I bet they would make a good squirrel herd in NC mountains
