    Default umbrella question


    i bought a melinium shade tree holder, went to academy tonight a looked at a sportsbrella. its got 2 flaps on the sides and is made to stake off on the ground. i want one that just stands up over the seat and maybe be able to tilt it at the top. didnt see anything like that. what do i need to look for

    Or Costco. If it has the screw thingy for the beach just remove it if it won’t fit.

    I just tie the flaps together over the top of mine...the flaps are handy fishing in the rain....pull them down and tie to sides of boat for a little more rain protection.

    I use a Beach/Patio umbrella that I bought from Home Depot for about $23 and fashioned my own "holder" out of PVC:




    What you can't see in the picture is the "tilt" hinge mechanism.

    the flaps give some extra shade while the sun is still low.. I spin mine around so the flap blocks a tad more sun.. Or they are made to sec ure in an upper position.
    Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
    The two loudest sounds are a gun that goes bang when it is supposed to go click and one that goes click when it is supposed to go bang.
