    Default Ipilot Link Question

Do any of you know if I can still use the Spot lock functions the same way an ipilot would work without it being connected to a compatible depth finder?....I mistankely have a helix 7 g2 on the way the isnt compatible. the helix 7 g2N is the one I needed. So I know the link wont work but will it still function as normal Ipilot ?

I believe the answer is yes. The spot lock will work if it's not connected to a depth finder. That is a function of the trolling motor and not the depth finder.
    It is what it is!

Don't be to hard on yourself. I bought a 798 cisi awhile back for the bow thinking it would link up . Well ... the 798 has to be a hd version. So I sold it for a loss . I love my hbirds., but they really need to work on their terminology. Itcould be real simple figuring out the model you need if every unit that was Ilink compatible had the same terminology.
