    Default Spoiled rotten

I fix fish almost every Tuesday . Thought the family was going to tear up and cry when I told them that I did not cook crappie tonight . They would have to suck it up and eat gills and red ear. Boo Hoo cry babies !Name: Video 87 0 00 00-01.jpg

That sure looks good to me. Love 'um with the skin and tails! What breading have you used? Looks like it's light, not too heavy. Maybe something you made up?

I do the same except I use about 70% yellow corn meal and 30% flour and add a little cajun seasoning to the salt and pepper. Never could figure why folks wanna spend $2 a bag on store bought batter, I could fry up a dozen batches for what it cost for one fry of the stuff you buy pre mixed.

I’m with you on the store bought fish fry. I’d rather doctor up my own concoction than spend the $2 a bag.

I would rather have gills and shellcrackers than crappie. Looks mighty fine!
