Good luck man. I have horrible luck with them. Learned the hard way that when you cranks them, never push the choke in after it try's to crank that first time. Floods them bad

Sounds like the jets in the carb are stopped up to me. That’s why it’s working on choke. It’s forcing the fuel through the carb with the choke. Pull em out and run a bread tie wire through them. New carbs are cheap for those things. Replace the fuel lines too. Might be sucking air, or a combo of both jets and lines.
