I buy the 150.00 state permit that covers all in boat . Having to stop and your guest having to pay/register you miss the early bite . Four state lakes fairly close . You really don't save much but time .

I am confused. When I went to Sardis last year I was told I would have to pay half of the regular launch fee with my senior pass. I was launching at Engineers point. Has this now changed to free or is this a ramp by ramp or lake by lake fee. I don't want to pay the ticket for not having the day pass. Thanks, Bo

Was just looking into this today as well. I was told if you have a federal government senior pass think it was called Golden Years Pass you can take it to any COE office and get your free senior parking pass. This is how I understood, hopefully someone can confirm.

The half price pass you are thinking about was the launch pass. New rules this year. If
you have a Senior Pass you go to any COE Field Office and get a free hang tag. You put your Senior Pass in this hang tag and display it in your vehicle. This takes the place of the launch tag. You no longer need to buy a permit to launch your boat. Just your Senior Pass in the free hang tag.
