    WB, sometimes you have to be a little more resourceful. Like when you only have access to a microwave and a toaster oven. That is the situation I find myself in at work and if you haven't tried broiling some in butter with lemon pepper & garlic, well lets just say it beats not being able to eat your crappie at all. And NO, I did not vote for that guy.:rolleyes:

    Torch's Deer Tenderlion

    1 deer tenderloin butterfly'ed and beat thin
    Marinate tenderloin in HOOVERS sauce over night
    cover inside and out with brown sugar
    fill the inside with sharpe cheedar cheese
    roll tenderloin and tie off with butchers string

    cook on grill medium heat until cheese is melted.

    Default How to cook crappie

    Some of you have asked how I prepare mine. I have several ways, as I'm sure most of you do too. But if you want a light, delicate flavor of the fish, try this. Sautee on low heat in butter, turn only once. Flavor with a light dusting of lemon pepper. Do not over cook. Happy eating.:D:D
