I bought these lights from Fire Water Marine and they seem fine to me. Bright and look good. They have a couple different ones as well.

I use a Berkley Magnum Submersible green light. Works well and was inexpensive when I purchased it. I don’t see it as being currently available though.

Fished Cumberland at night only one time in the last few decades, so I may not be the one to be listening to ... but :

I used a 12v floating headlight (white light) in the water and two "blacklights" on the gunnel (with white light bulbs) to light up the rods (& floats).
Overall, when I'm night fishing for Crappie (anywhere), I don't pick "banks" ... I pick standing timber that I can tie off to. If there's none available and there's a brushpile there, I'll drift around that brushpile.

I've "heard" that green lights don't work too well at Cumberland. And putting your "bait" out to the edge of the light will catch more fish than fishing down in it.

I have a Nebo Submerser that works pretty well. Self contained and rechargeable. Works well when you are fishing off of a dock

Thanks Pappy……I saw 2 videos showing white flourescent mounted to their boat but most all I’ve seen use green submersible. Also see most folks use minnows vs jigs.

Something new to me this Crappie thing and certainly at night but I’ve got a starting point. I appreciate the input guys…!!!
