    Default Alternative to PayPal

On July 11,2022 my customer sent PayPal payment to me. PayPal put a 21 day hold on the funds. We both after many contacts to PayPal, the funds are still on hold.

Another problem without notice PayPal charged me $18.67 on a $600.00 transaction.
Why and why so much and without notice just took it out of payment.

I was experiencing credit card fraud. Capital One suggested I stop using PayPal. I did, have not experienced fraud since.

They charge 3% so there's your 18 bucks.
Do not fund PayPal with your bank account, back it up with a credit card.
Almost every credit card provides online purchase protection, it will supersede anything that PayPal will do for you...hth

Also - be aware that a buyer can bang up on you within 180 days of a PayPal purchase...
All they need to do is claim the item wasn't as described, or broken, etc and PayPal will refund them and you will be screwed....

Never had an issue with PayPal! Actually they have saved me a few times from dishonest sellers!

Yup I’ve never had any issues either with PayPal. I actually like using them for online purchases.
