    Default Spinning reels

Hey guys, I was hoping I could get a question answered. I’ve recently moved to the lake, which allows me to fish a lot more. So I’ve up’ed my game by buying some new tackle. With that being said I have figured out that I DO NOT like, nor am I efficient at using spinning reels. My question is can I replace a spinning reel with a spin cast reel on my spinning rods? And if not, what are some good crappie rods that I can use a closed face or spin cast reels on? It seems all the good rods are made for spinning reels now….

They do make trigger spins a spincast version of a spinning reel. Zebco, Pflueger, and Diawa make them. They would work well with your current spinning rods.

That is an idea, I don’t know why I didn’t think of that… that way I don’t have to get rid of the spinning rods. Thank you…

Yes, that would be a real good option with your current rods.
