Your Dream fishing trip?

My bride and I are trying to figure out our next vacation fishing trip. We have done the halibut and king salmon Alaska trip. We have red fished inshore in South Louisiana.

What is your dream fishing experience?

Possibly Tarpon on the flats somewhere

Ehh....bottom fishing is GREAT eating but not the most exciting.

These are left on my bucket list:

1) Salmon/halibut-but looks like OP already did that;
2) Flyfishing for trout in a clear stream;
3) Peacock bass-you can do that in S. Florida now apparently

Growing up in La, I've been lucky to fish in saltwater, coastal areas and offshore. If you get a chance, go catch some big yellowfin tuna. That's fun!

I would like to catch a sailfish. Don’t know if I have the strength anymore. 2nd, Maine Salmon on a fly rod on one of those classic streams you can’t get on unless you part with mucho dinero. Just dreaming…no charge for that.
