Golden phones
A man decided to travel to each state and visit the largest church in each one. He started in NY and just inside the door saw a golden telephone with a sign above it. It said: Direct line to God. $10,000 a minute. He’s was amazed! As he traveled to each state he saw all had golden phones with astronomical prices. Texas was the last one he visited and just picked the first one he saw as he knew it would be like all the rest. Sure nuff, there was a golden phone but the sign said: Direct line to God. Talk as long as you want. It’s free. He was confused and asked the pastor why all the others he’d seen were terribly expensive and this one was free. The pastor replied “ It’s simple. You’re in Texas now. It’s a local call!”
It’s hard to stumble when you’re on your knees.
