Default The Wizzard remote control trolling motor

Ran across this the other day at a junk shop. I can't find any information on this model. Seems ahead of it's time. Electric steer with a foot pedal similar to a Minkota Power Drive. Certainly ahead of it's timeName: 20211017_122305.jpg

It is a pretty neat set up. Has the wiring dry rotted on it. Otherwise is was in great shape by appearance Some of the Western Auto stuff was innovative.

Wizard made a bicycle with a motor. Pedal to start, before the Moped.

Did you inquire if it still worked? I found this for ya, I know it’s outboards but pretty interesting.

I would think it still would work. It is just brush motors switches and wires. There will be varying stages of a resistor banks to vary the speed. It would be pretty sharp on a period bass boat. It would need rewired.
