Default Four cylinder full size truck ???

How Does the New 4-Cylinder Chevy Silverado Tow a Max Load Up the World's Toughest Towing Test? - YouTube

Your thoughts? I must admit, I'm intrigued.

For those that have pulled travel trailers before, would you pull one with this vehicle and engine combination? Trailer is 8' wide, 21' long, 10'6" tall, gross weight of 4700#'s, 500# tongue weight. 6 - 8 times a year, no mountain towing.
The HP and torque numbers are impressive. And the fact that they're generated at low RPM.

I found a '21 GMC Sierra, with the 2.7 V4 turbo, loaded, less than $40000. It's a customer courtesy vehicle, reason for the low price. It has factory brake controller. Payload of over 2000#s.
    Would you?
Worth it to upgrade from a '18 Nissan frontier, V6?

Looks impressive. The wife didn't like it much. That was only because I cast it onto the tv she was watching twice instead of the one I was watching. That seems to be the tend now. Ford has had the 4 and 6 cylinder Eccoboost out for a while now. Toyota has a 3.5 liter twin turbo V6 they will run. 22mph is pretty good fuel economy from a 4 door 4 wheel drive full size truck. Looks like it did a great job towing it's max load uphill.

You're not alone sir ! I've done similar things to my bride !! I'm a slow learner !!!!!
I'm curious how it would do pulling a travel trailer, they are a different animal to tow.

I had 3 4 liter Toyota Tacoma trucks. I went last December and bought the Tacoma with the 3.5 liter. Initially it felt to be lacking in the torque department. Until you realize the nature of the beast is to rev higher to stay in its power band. The horsepower figures should be higher than your current Nissan. I have not checked that engine. Most all the new turbo charged engines are running water cooling on the turbos. Add to their life and reduces oil burning. We had a company truck with the V6 twin turbo ecoboost that thing would flat move
