Inarguably, Mel Brooks Movies(eg- Blazing Saddles '74 /History of the World '81), are some of the highest-count "one liners" flicks! -Badges, we don't need no badges/I don't need to show you no stinkin' badges!(Mexican vigilante) -OH Sweet mystery of Life, at last I Found you!(Madelyn Kahn) ~{non-verbal}The horse "punch" delivered by Mongo(Alex Karras-Blazing Saddles)...the horse fell over on the SAME SIDE as the punch(was Delivered) = refer to Newton's Law -Ffffttt!!(Campfire scene"baked beans"/Blazing Saddles) -It's Good to be the KING!(Mel Brooks-History of the World)/(Ed Moes/Crappie.com)

One of my all-time fav flicks was Walking Tall '73 that had Joe Don Baker portraying a real-life Tennessee sheriff(Buford Puser- died '74@36 yrs.)) that actually carried a Big Stick! Many notable quotes, I'm sure, but maybe the concept(title) emanated from Teddy Roosevelt's credo "Speak softly and carry a Big Stick, you will go far'.
