I had Covid in late December and I was given an antibody infusion that my doctor recommended. I’m fine now and hopefully I have some level of immunity for a while.
Maybe by the time the immunity wears off the vaccine will be available for my age group in my area. Unless there’s really strong evidence there’s a problem with the vaccines I plan to get it when I’m able.

Exactly what my dad says! He says he's not going if he has anything to say about it.............he says if he ever gets where he can't take care of himself and it's gonna cost thousands of dollars to keep him alive laying in a bed somewhere, he'll choose the 25 cent .22 caliber treatment. Scares me to hear him talk like that, but I wouldn't want to be in one of those places either. I can understand his thinking.

Received my second dose of the Pfizer vaccine today. No side effects so far. I thank God and pray that all who need this vaccine will be able to get it soon.

Why? She could refuse and wait until she gets sick. We’re all gonna get it sometime whether we get the vaccine or not. Just like the flu......we’ve all had it, I’m sure, at some time in our lives. I had flu really bad about five years ago. It took two rounds of tamilfu and sinus infection meds to get me over it. 30 years ago, it would have done me in and I know it. There’s lots of things worse than dying. I was wit my mother when she passed back in June. I can tell you being sick and feeling really bad, I don’t mean the head cold or stomach bug feel bad, I mean feeling deathly I’ll is much worse than actually going over. I got my vaccine. When my time comes, I am not scared to go. I do still have things I want to do, though.

Right now, I’m just concentrating on keeping my 79 year old dad fairly happy. With Mom gone, he’s lost thirty pounds and his days consist mostly of watching black n white westerns all day while I’m at work. I’ve already put in for an extra week off at work for Spring Break and I’m hoping he’ll go camping and fishing with me and my cousins, his nephews, for the Spring spawn. I so want to get him in that 2’ water for some buck brush fishing for them big slabs!

I believe by summer, this COVID stuff will start trending down.

Well, looks like I may be a guinea pig for this vaccine. My school was closed today due to 10 teachers being out and close to 100 kids sent home including all players on both the boys & girls basketball teams. All were close contacts to just a handful of positive cases. One of those positives is my friend, and father of a girls basketball player, and he & his wife met me & mine for dinner Saturday night at our local steakhouse. He said he began feeling like he had the flu on Sunday and got a quick test and he’s positive........so I’m now on the close contact list, meaning I can’t go back to the school until February 3 at the earliest. We will see if my vaccine keeps it away, or at least at bay. I’ll update if anything changes.

I’d rather get the vaccine than Covid 19 and endure it’s possible side effects for life. I never had any effects what so ever from taking the first shot except a minor sore arm for about 12 hrs. Keep the muscles relaxed totally when taking the shot and have a less sore arm.
