To each their own. But do any of us actually know what’s in the water we drink, the food we eat, the other medicine we take??
I’ve had my first and my wife has had both. Not sure how long the immunity will last, but I would say the shots are as safe as most anything else we put in our bodies these days.

Have not been able to get one in my area since they changed age limit. Just found out they are saying in my area they will have 800 doses after the first of February. Probably got ten times that waiting like I am. State says they don’t have money to distribute.

Each pharmacy or vaccine location must have an epipen thee or they can’t give the vaccines, just in case of a serious allergic reaction. Epipens are hard to get, so there we go.......it’s certainly possible that this is all planned out, but we will never really know.

High School Principal did a ZOOM meeting with us this morning.......he’s positive and feeling bad. “Wheels are about to come off of schools” is what he said. We’ll see how it unfolds.

Is the epipen shortage as bad as it was in 2019? Seems most of the people with reactions are ones that would already be carrying an epipen. Steve Hilton? I will trust the nation's leading infectious disease expert over a political commentator. Especially Thursday morning!

I don’t know about epipens much. All I am saying is what my wife, whose been a pharmacy tech for over 20 years, has said. Maybe it really wasn’t thought out properly. Anyhow, I do know one reason why the COVID vaccines may be slow getting into arms is because the epipens are hard to find.

As far as my school goes.......boys & girls basketball teams traveled last Friday night to a school that had already been shut down for COVID and had just recently opened back up. We had players and coaches coming down sick all weekend long. So the necessity for sports has put us in harm’s way and now we’re shut down. I spoke with a school board member and told him that I thought all extracurricular activities should cease for a while so that classroom lessons could resume as quickly as possible and hopefully keep going. He disagreed and said “we can’t give into fear, we gotta play them basketball conference games and practice for baseball & softball after school as well.” His daughter plays basketball & softball.

Common sense doesn’t figure in too high with most decision making. But, I’m just a little private soldier and not one of the major generals.

WE received our second shot this past Saturday , Jan 23. WE had no reactions to either shots. The process here is well organized with a wait time of 30 minutes typical. Small towns are much more organized than large ones where people don't know their mailman by name.
